It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Bishop, a cherished mother, friend, and long-time member of the KL Girls group in Toronto, Ontario.
Wendy’s warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted mother whose love for her children radiated through every aspect of her life. Her strength and compassion were pillars for those around her, and her ability to make others feel seen and cared for will be remembered forever.
Wendy was an active and beloved part of the KL Girls, a close-knit circle of friends who have shared a lifelong bond for nearly five decades. Over the years, they gathered for countless luncheons, memories, and laughter—a testament to the power of friendship and community.
Long-time friend Linda Taylor Draddy shared,
“This has been a very sad week for the KL GIRLS who have attended many luncheons throughout our 47 years. Last week we lost Bonnie Orme, and yesterday we lost Wendy Bishop… our heartfelt condolences to both Bonnie and Wendy’s families. May you have great memories during this sad time.”
Wendy’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the joy of knowing her. As we remember her life, may we carry forward the values she lived by—love, loyalty, and the beauty of shared connection.
In this time of sorrow, we offer our deepest condolences to her loved ones. Wendy, your light will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace.
